If you still want to practice go to a local hardware store and get about 3 to 4 feet of 1" rope. Measure it out to the distance you need it and tie a knot on each end.

I agree with you Kerry.
He does not come from a very solid family, the dad is always gone and the mom dotes on his sister. I have tried to get him to go with me to karate but just doesn't seem too interested.
