I didnt practice uechi long enough to really get a feel for it. Less than one year. But I loved it and would love a similar experience. Never the less, I am open to absolutely anything and look forward to checking these places out in person.

It was not a good speech to have at that college, that could have been avoided I think. I do believe the way it was handled is pretty interesting, not only the students reaction but also the media's view, especially in the second article posted.

An article I find to be funnier since it really describes the speech as an assault on the attendees. Check the reactions described, it's as if these people are witnesses to a bombing or something. There's also a link to hear the speech at the bottom.

Unless I am mistaken, the socialist ideas that NPR sometimes backs or encourages are not un American. I think many things have been manipulated by spinmasters to bring up automatic negative responses in people when certain words or phrases are mentioned.
