Rotator Cuff acting up? etc...when these thoughts and more were convincing me to take it easy, I would think, if Mr. Moulton can take years and years to ...

Hey all;
And let's not forget those guys that compete in the strongman competitions. Their size alone...where do you hit them w/o pissing them off? Those guys flip cars, pull trucks, lift boulders, etc. while most of us could maybe push a car out of the snow w/ a few buddies and not get too winded ...

My First Instructor is gone
He taught me from age 12 to 17, then moved out west. He passed on a few years ago but I just heard about it. Wish he could have see then man I became. I was a shy kid in a class of adults but he took a special liking to me and would look at me and touch his chin to remind me to hold my head high ...

Hey;
I never was in the ring, but in kumite, whether in the dojo or in a tourney, I have a nasty side kick. I've worked it as long as I've been in karate. I used bags and kicking shields to develop it. Matter of fact, I would put a mattress against the wall behind buddy holding the shield and just ...

One thing that I've found that increased my grip strength was cutting an old towel into strips and wrapping them around dumbbells and barbells when lifting.
The fatter grip causes the smaller muscles to work harder and hence an increase in grip results, or at least I've found. Then w/ the increase ...

Sochin;
Yes, my doc made me aware that the cholesterol pills might cause leg cramps and that is why at 80 mgs., he has my blood work checked regularly to make sure my liver is handling the high dose and that I was to stop immediately if I was getting leg cramps. I had no problems w/ the 40 mgs. and ...

Folks;
Thanks for the advice. I should note that I wasn't clear on the doc's advice wrt the brown bagging it. I was talking to him about when I get antsy at times for no particualar reason, and sometimes for stress related reasons and feel that I can't breathe properly. I didn't mention to him yet ...
