Solo conditioning exercises

I have found gaps in time at work where I sit and wait for work to come. I am very new to Uechi, so do not know of any exercises that are good for conditioning. I am looking to condition my arms, legs, hands and feet. Any solo exercises would be greatly appreciated!!! :D

Thank you for such a detailed and great response! It is good to read that the proper training brings such positive results. Some broken boday parts have taught me that bad form can really get ya!

Future adverse effects of training?

I am curious to the effects of training on the body. I know being fit and stretching can lead to a happier life in the future, but I was wondering if the iron conditioning and strenuous breathing could cause adverse conditions that could hinder oneself later in life.

How long until black belt?

How long shoudl one take (on average) before reaching black belt in Uechi-Ryu Karate? I know there are variances in time, but I have noticed in other MA's that some can acquire this belt with less time and more money: Not a good thing the way I see it.
