Does anyone know of a website where I can find info on how, when, and why ancient monks used to hide karate and other arts in the form of dance?

I need to write an essay for my BB grading and I picked this topic.

Okay, I think I know what I was doing wrong.

All I was thinking about was the throw and I didn't worry about any other techniques.

I guess I should just flow with the opponent more and use whatever is presented.

I know that throws work in training.
Very effectively. But isn't that just because of the gripping that you and your uke have, and the fact that he/she is waiting for you to do that?

A six year old with a black belt??!!

It should take about that long to get one!
She would have had to join when she was one or two.
Whats the point of having a black belt when you're six? She's probably going to drop out when shes older because she will have to be a blackbelt for the rest of her ...

Well, as I said, I take Okinawan Go-Ju Ryu karate and in our federation, you "have" to be 16yrs old before you can be graded to black. This doesn't mean that if you've been a junior bb for 11 years that you automatically get your "senior" bb, you still have to be graded.

I think this makes sense ...

Okay, I'm 15 years old and I have my junior blackbelt in Go-Ju Karate. I'm supposed to get graded for my "normal" blackbelt this september after my 16th birthday in June. I've seen a lot of kids younger than me (not in my federation mind you) with 1st and 2nd degree blackbelts in this and that. Yeah ...

Does anyone know of a really good kumite site with strategies and advice?
