"Ah, A excellent swordsman and an excellent book. I've read the Go Rin No Sho, it truly is a great book, but for such a great swordsman could any less be expected? I forget now, but does the G.R.N.S. Mention Niten Ichi Ryu Kenjutsu/Double Heaven School?"
Yes, at the end of one of the books I ...

"Incidently, you should check out SunTzu's ART of WAR. It is older than Go Rin No Sho and you will find some of the same information, plus much more."
Thank you for this information. I have thought about buying The Art of War for a while, but didn't know what it was about specifically. Now I think ...

Go Rin No Sho
Has anyone read A Book of Five Rings (Go Rin No Sho)? It is a book of combat strategy written by the much celebrated samuari Miyamoto Musashi. I have owned the book for about two years and find it to be facinating.

"Can anyone explain the two guys, each wearing ONE giant boxing glove, fighting AROUND a GIANT BABY BOTTLE on the Travel page?"
Shure.

"Oh that's good stuff. I just can't figure out what stunt fighting, a career in digital video, and paintball have to do with each other, though. At those prices, the guy only needs about 3 students to make a pretty good living however. $2000 for "sensei seminars"?"

Would anyone comment on this "Tew Ryu" system?
It seems to be designed to attract uninformed people intrested in the martial arts.
Comments would be much appreciated.

Interesting topic...
I wonder, is there actually so much difference between ranks? For example, is a newly promoted shodan superior to an advanced ni-kyu?
In my prospective, attaining rank symbolizes more responsibility and effort.

It makes you wonder if this is the end of the attacks.
I pray that it is so.
If not however, the next targets may be Los Angeles or possibly the Kennedy Space Center -40 miles away from where I am typing this.
It seems that since the attacks occurred within minutes of each other, that the blow to ...

September eleventh... 911 - a day that will be remembered for ever.
Still no one has claimed responsibility.
It seems people are afraid to estimate casulities.

My opinion on this subject is that you should concentrate on one art that suites you.
Every so often you should cross-train in different arts which focus on a different aspect of combat.

Chimp-Ryu?
I'm somewhat surprised that the chimp was comfortable performing spinning kicks. Sense primates have greater upper than lower body strength, I would have thought it would be more comfortable punching.
Instead of taekwando, the chimp would be better suited to a tumbling sport, such as judo.

Chimp-Ryu?
I have to admit, that was pretty amazing.
However, I wonder if the chimp was responding to the instructor's voice commands, or weather it was a choreographed set of techniques the chimp had memorized.
