Facing your fears

Post by Bill Glasheen »

I was going through some Berke Breathed comic strips today, and saw this one. I love the Bloom County series. It had a way of dealing with fears, phobias, and political correctness in a way that didn't leave you uptight.

Anyhow... This one seems apropos for a martial arts forum in a metaphorical way. (Plus... I've been known to be preoccupied with some subjects...) For you martial artists out their worrying about "the boogeyman" when you lay awake at night, perhaps this comic strip will put "fear" in perspective.

Haha... Bill I applaud your timing. It is 4 am here in the "Barren Wastelands of New Brunswick" as I battle so many "what ifs". Major changes coming my way with fears I may get caught with my "pants down".
I will borrow this comic strip from you...
