I like that we are seeing increasing interest in and information on martial arts that originate outside of China, Japan, and Okinawa, I just hope they are an accurate reflection of principles and techniques and not just making it up as they go.

The main demonstrator in the first clip needs more weapons in his sash, I think I saw an empty spot or two! 8O

From what I can tell it is genuine, I know that there are other Sikh martial arts which are still practiced and there is also Kalari and Lathi. The way I think that you can tell this is the real thing is the attention to almost trivial detail, like were he holds a dagger under his Buckler ( small shield) , he has also appeared in Discovery, practising this in India. There is another clip were he uses the Sikh bracelet as a weapon, which is pretty neat I had always thought this was a throwing weapon, but that is a different thing altogether.
