Another very entertaining summer movie for martial artists

Post by Bill Glasheen »

I just saw the Wolverine sequel with number 2 son. It had some of the most detailed and extensive martial weapon choreography I've seen in a movie in a long time. Both men and women are going at it with traditional Japanese weapon arts.

There's enough romance in it to delight the fairer sex, and our hero is quite the gentleman. I actually was rooting for "the other woman" in this movie, and there's quite a bit of sexual tension there. She was crazy in ways that I like a lot. But then that's me. ;-)

Not for those looking for extensive plot development. But then there are few martial arts or action hero movies that fit that bill.

It gets a bit intense and crazy at times, including a fight scene on top of a speeding bullet train.
