Forumites' Lunch at Camp

Post by david »

Camp is a great place to meet new people, or people we know through these forums but have not met face to face.

Camp is pretty busy though and we can get caught up in the seminars, etc, and not meet those we may have wanted to. That happened to me last year. I suggest we identify an area in the cafeteria during Saturday's lunch break for forumites to drop by, break bread and chat face to face.

Any interest?

Good idea Dave. How can we identify the table?

David,

Good idea! How about making an announcement before lunch?

I too would like to associate a face to a name, because I seem to have difficulty putting a name to a face it may just help.

GEM, can you make an announcement just before lunch on Saturday. I break off early and stake out some tables -- probably on the right hand side by the windows. Maybe put up a sign: WWW.UECHI-RYU.COM

See you all there. I am psyched for some fun, relaxation and, yes, a weekend away from the kids. Image

I'll have a sign posted on a table by the window!

See you all tomorrow!

Record number of students and teachers this year! Weather will be perfect. . . as usual. . . Should be a wonderful camp.

I am really sorry to be missing camp this year - I was looking forward to meeting all of you - I tried but unfortunately have too many schedule conflicts on this weekend. Hopefully next year!

Have fun!

I had hoped to make it, too, but I couldn't skip work Friday or round up child care for the weekend in advance. Next year my children will be old enough to forage for themselves and I can just turn them out to pasture.

I hope everyone has a great time and learns lots.
