Blackouts improve one's perspective as well as improve one's appreciation for the little aggitated electrons. Remember, Scott, it's Watts up front that counts.

You got it in time to read it by candlelight. But then thinking karate with a lit candle provides the setting to practice putting out the flame using the extension of one's chi

I really don't believe I am writing these little sparkling jewels.

Good luck with your book, Scott. The spiral bound ones were actually prototype covers and there were only about 5 or 6 printed. I rescued them one of the boxes earmarked for the dumpster and you are fortunate to seal that rescue, Scott.

What I like about spirial covers is that when one is learning or referencing from it he/she just lays the book flat to the desired page and it remains open.

I still have a couple more left with covers like that.

I went outside on the deck to read it before the sun went down. Great reading. When the lights came back on about 11:20pm for me, I was starting to teach myself Sanseiryu. It's the only kata I never did learn. I totally prefer the spiral version because as you say, I can easily leave it open for reference. So far the directions are so clear and consise. Plus the kumites and drills which I haven't done in many, many moons.

Do you have any of the tapes that went with the book for sale? I am interested in a copy.

Hello Scott.

Thanks for the good words on your book.

The master tape of which I was providing copies with Uechi-ryu 2000 broke somewhere near the middle, +/-25%. "Aha! " I thought to myself, "I'll make another master from the backup. " I inserted the backup in the tape machine to generate a new master from it and the "Aha!" turned to a "Duh!" when the backup turned out to be blank.

The short answer is no video, and not until I repair the master which is not going to happen in the near foreseeable future.

I was going to do the spiral for all my books. I'm glad you like the spiral bound. I tried several bindings before I decided on the Perfect Bind. However, even though it is a more practical type of cover, that kind of binding does not look professional and the added expense would have been prohibitively expensive.

Please enjoy.

BTW, in the interest of everyone who is at least partially following these posts, the specified price is only for single items in a small boxful of recently-discovered books, printed as various prototyoes, and vary pretty much as to only the cover. The standard book is still 50 and will be available again at my first opportunity to make it happen.
