INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR MUAY THAI FED
4th WORLD AMATEUR MUAY THAI CHAMPIONSHIPS BANGKOK THAILAND
4-14 MARCH 1999
These Championships are being staged to celebrate and honour the King of Thailand's 72 birthday. If you study martial arts or just wish to visit Thailand during the celebrations we hope you will be able to attend the Championships.
The International Amateur Muay Thai federation with the support of Departments of the Thai Government has already successfully
co-hosted three World Championships in Bangkok. We are confident than the 4th World Championships will attract more competitors and visitors than ever before. It is expected that 54 national teams will compete.
In addition an Exposition of Traditional Thai Martial Arts will be held at the National Stadium as part of the celebrations for the King of Thailand's birthday.
