Hi Mike:

This event covers many areas of training. We have a fantastic time and eat really well. Many thanks go to my wife who looks after the food and most of the other camp details.

The instructors and sessions are still being finalized but so far I have:

Mike McGuire, FMA knife for a two hour session
Dave Chow, Uechi will be making a presentation again this year. Last year dealt with adding intensity to your training.
Trevor Tessier will be retruning to do two hours on ground grappling.
David McFadyen is a Kempo stylist who will be working on empty hand drills.
Bill Poon is a FMA stylist who will also be doing empty hand drills.
Tony Fell Uechi will be working on the generation of power.
I will be doing two hours on empty hand vs. knife and Sunday morning Qigong Eight Brocades of Cloth and Ink grinding.

Still a few other sessions and instructors to work out. Just my busy life holding me up. A few less instructors this year as people wanted longer sessions.

It takes place at a very lovely site just south of Edmonton.

Last year we had the great pleasure of a surprise drop in instructor – Jim Maloney. It was fantastic. I doubt we will be lucky enough o have him happen to be in Edmonton again this year.

Great news! Add Robb Finlayson, one of Tony Blauer’s PDR instructors, to our list. Robb was at last year’s camp and is a credit to Tony’s team.

We are also very please to say that we will be joined by Doug Smith a Uechi Ryu and Kobudo practitioner who will be coming to work us on the Bo. He may have some help from Kenta Kinjo from Okinawa who might be staying with him for a while.

That fills out the schedule which will be posted on the web site soon.

Finally I think everything is set -- well until the next glitch.

My thanks to all the patient instructors, particularly Robb who put up with a time switch.

Few last minute changes.

Unfortunately Joseph Chen is unable to attend so I will fill in his spot. Joseph sessions have been a highlight of our camps he will be missed but hopefully he will be back next year. Also we will have Jamie Tokuda handling the Kempo section.
