A POEM FOR THE GRIEVING...

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...

George and Susan my deepest condolences on the passing of Tia - it is quite obvious to anyone who knows the both of you that Tia was much much more than simply a beloved pet. I hope you will pass through this time of mourning that you will be comforted by remembering the wonderful times you had with Tia.

Having very recently lost my 22 year old cat, I too can appreciate how "pets" are so much more. They are family. My condolences on your loss. May happy memories drown out the tears and sadness.
