just took their toll

now everywhere I look I see problems
that I never saw before
my heart's in the gutter
my soul's on the floor

that heart lies broken
shattered on the ground
but don't count me out yet
I'm not that easy to put down

but I guess things change and
some things don't last

I'll do just fine
this is just another test
