Talk about coincidence, I'm reading this wonderful forum while sipping a cup of Seattle's best, smoking an H. Upmann, and listening to music. Does life get any better than that!!!

The coffee connection

Postby maurice richard libby » Mon Mar 01, 1999 4:42 pm

Last month Gelavia told me that they would no longer be shipping to Canada. At first I was upset, but now I get my coffee from a place in my neighbourhood that roasts their beans right before your very eyes. I really like the "Act Locally" aspect of that. When you know the guy who roasts your beans, (and he wears the same kind of beret as you do), it makes the pleasure more intense, sort of like owning a work of art made by an artist you know.

Well, I've finished mine, so I should go to work now.

Tony,

sure thing. They have a really nice extra dark roast called "Extra Butter" it makes really good espresso etc. I'll send you some.

Email me your snail mail address, my email is mori@interlog.com

You got to love this forum!

Mind you, I'm still not sure what this has to do with self defence, unless it's on a metaphysical level Image.

Maurice San,
You wrote "Mind you, I'm still not sure what this has to do with self defence, unless it's on a metaphysical level."
How about it stimulates the body/mind to jump to warp drive. If that doesn't inspire confidence, how about my brother Carl's suggested use, to wit, "throw it in the guy's face!"

Good training,
David
