Proposed Gun Confiscation Law in Connecticut

Ok New Englanders, can what I heard today be true?

A caller on the Rush Limbaugh show this afternoon (I listen to G. Gordon Liddy on Radio Free DC as well when I can) told of a gun control law being proposed in CT that would allow two parties (neighbors maybe) to petition the police to confiscate the guns, all guns, from a third party if they felt that person to be a risk. No due process, just confiscation. Period.

Is this not how the Third Reich began?

This cannot be correct. Anyone else hear of this?

Sounds like another one of those 'rumors' that we see on the internet. I believe if such a law was being considered, we'd be seeing it on the front pages of newspapers.

GEM and Rick:

Let's hope we'd hear about it.

I had my secretary (bookeeper) write a check to the NRA Friday.

One would have thought I was funding "people for the Speard of Nuclear Weapons, Inc."

She asked me how I would deduct it.

"Political Action Group, and don't let my door hit you in the bum on your way back to write the check"

I am pretty fed up with the collective guilt we "gun culture folk" are all supposed to be feeling.

I will have to manage to find a way to feel bad towards gun violence without being made to feel personally responsible.
