Hi Robb, that is a great picture of Joe Lewis, really a movie star look. How old was he when the photo was taken?

No question about cultivating and trying to keep good looks for a lifetime.

Van,
Joe weighed 183 for the movie Jaguar Lives . Hollywood didnt like muscular guys with accents so Joe tortured himself to get to that weight from 208 (his fighting weight). He ran every day in the Isreali & Morrocan heat to maintain that weight....I guess they changed their minds when it came to Van Damme and Joes' buddy Arnold Schwartzenegger....

"...I had to drop several pounds in order to appease the Director in this movie, "Jaguar Lives." Look how skinny my neck, face and shoulders became----around a mere 180 some pounds. I "had" to shed tears in a couple of the scenes in that film like this one."- Joe Lewis
