So what are the chances that crooks are simply deciding it's better to fight and run than to risk getting shot while defenseless?

Can anyone argue that this statement is false?

Any country be it a democracy or not, has the potential to make this statement a reality when it begins to fear its own citizens.

There was a time "cops" walked among the citizens...now they are they being sent among us? No easy solution considering we constantly hear of the "war on drugs", "war on terrorist"... "War on crime" Really, come on

That we can blame on the media. I want to scream every time I hear how one politician 'slammed,' 'crushed,' or 'destroyed' another politician or something they said. It tends to use the most outrageous terminology, just to sell headlines and talking points.

POLITICIAN BLASTS LIMBAUGH: DON'T MOCK COMMUNIST CHINESE LEADER!

Never mind US politicians defending communists... but blasts? Really? Is somebody picking up pieces of Limbaugh somewhere?
