Violence: A Writer's Guide

Rory published an e-book by this title, so I downloaded it and gave it a read.

You might recognize this link.

:D

I can't remember where I've seen it before, but this story may have been in Meditations.

He also mentions the OODA loop a number of times.

Riveting.

Debra Anne Davis's Betrayed by the Angel has been linked to on these forums before.

It's undeniably cool that e-books can link a reader directly to outside sources. 8)

This forum has talked at great length about almost everything Rory touches on, but it's been packaged (yet not sanitized) to address the needs of the author.

Killing with a knife is profound. Profoundly sobering, and sometimes, for some people, profoundly empowering and liberating. You have to decide for yourself whether that emotional response is automatically evil.

Then you have to square that decision with reality if you ever experience it.
