Professor Wally Jay passed away today. He was 93 years old.

I don't think I've ever met a more even tempered man in my life. What a class act.

RIP.

Great system, small circle. I crossed trained in this system for 2 years before hip replacement. Great complement to uechi ryu.

The people I met who trained with Jay say he was impressive and formidable into his mid 80's. In a world where martial arts are loaded with scam artists this guy was the real deal. RIP professor.

GM Jay was a regular featured instructor at Karate College throughout the 90's . I had many good times with him and his son Leon on and off the mat .

RIP
