Larkin did a couple of presentations at Coach Blauer's Combatives Camp this past summer. Interesting guy.

Bill--I don't know about weights, but he definitely looked like he grew up where meat was cheap ;-)

Unfortunately, everything he did at the camp was lecture, so I never saw his training (and missed half of one lecture, because I was suiting up for High Gear demo). He did a lecture on what he calls anti-social vs. asocial violence; it's similar to Rory Miller's idea about social vs. asocial, but less nuanced. I like Rory's work on that better.

The injury thing is interesting. Nice in theory, but I always wonder about making it work in practice. One of the other PDR coaches did a longer seminar with Larkin, and came away with some interesting ideas.
