BRUNSWICK (WGME) -- 60-year-old Archie Lully is charged with disorderly conduct and assault. Police say that he went to a martial arts studio in Topsham Tuesday and asked to sign up for classes, saying he wanted to quote, "punch somebody in the face".
The instructor thought something was off about Lully, and refused to take him.
Police say Lully showed up the next day and started throwing punches at the instructor, who was able to take Lully down. An off-duty police officer taking classes also helped subdue him.
Topsham Police say when they were taking Lully from the building, he said he only took a swing at the instructor because he wanted to see if he was worth the $60 an hour.
