A dojo in upstate New York?

Post by fifthraven »

My name is Zachariah Norman and I may be moving to the Albany area in New York next year and I was wondering if anybody knew any good dojos in the area. If I'm in Albany, then I'll be a student at RPI and wont be able to travel too far to get to a dojo, or at least I couldn't do that all the time.

I have seen his site before, do you have any opinions as to the quality of his teachings. He claims great credentials, which I do not mean to doubt, but I would still enjoy a second opinion.

Hi,

I have met him. But haven't trained with him. However he has written an excellent book on Uechi and has trained on Okinawa and with James Thompson. Based on that I would say he is worth a few classes to see for yourself.
He seemed like a very nice man and one who loves the art.
