Hi Tony - I don't know of any Uechi in the Akron/Canton/Youngstown area. I heard that someone was teaching Uechi in a Cleveland suburb south of the city, but can't confirm.

If your friend wants to train with one of the best martial artists in the region, I can hook him/her up with an awesome kung fu instructor in Cleveland. If this is of interest, let me know.
