<font color= "red">The following precept was taught by Shushiwa.

If you know yourself and know your enemy, you will win one hundred battles.

If you know yourself but not your enemy, you may win fifty battles.

If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you can not win.

To fight one hundred battles and win one hundred times is not virtuous. To acheive victory without a fight is true virtue.</font>

The only way to win a victory without a fight is by using VSD.

You won't believe this Len... Just before logging on, I was reading Dollar's book and came across this same passage and was thinking the same thoughts as you!

What a beautiful saying.

I believe it.

Another mystery in the realm of martial arts!

Many times in the past, Sesnsei Bethoney and I were discussing someone we hadn't seen in a while and sure enough that person would call or walk in the dojo in the very near future.
