Post by M. Keller »

Hello everyone,

Can anyone recommend any good BJJ instructional videos to me? I've gotten some exposure to grappling down at UVA under Tim Ahearn and Ian Jenkins, and I definitely feel that I should learn more on the subject.

Thanks!

Hey are you guys into grappeling very much?
have you ever heard of a man named Max Bishop? he was a presidental bodyguard for Goerge Bush seinor while he went through chicogo. anyway he is real cool he came to my school and taught some seminars. he used to be a navy seal and he was into pit fighting he was named no.2 fighter in the world a few years back.he showed us allot of cool stuff, but that was two years ago when I was still green at grappeling. Anyway I was just wondering if you heard of him.

peace

Welcome to the forum karateguy. I hope you add your input whenever you see fit. As for Mr. Bishop, I have never heard of him, but maybe some of the other people have. Grappling is kind of a new practice here in the states. Let's give credit where credit is due. If it weren't for the Gracie family, grappling wouldn't have exploded the way it has over the past 5/6 years. Hopefully, people will realize the importance of adding it to their, curriculum whatever art they study.
