Who were those WHITE BELTS

Post by JDeLuca »

It was hard at first to focus my eyes. There they were my teachers, my training partners, Uechi Ryu's finest all in WHITE BELTS. David M, Fedele C, Gary K, Margret C, Mark P, and Tracey R. That totals to about 30 dans worth of punches and kicks all willing to try something new.

I want to thank everyone that came to hit the mats yesterday, it makes it a special workout when such quality people show up. Matwork is a slow process at the start but it won't be long until you see a significant improvement.

After all if it was EASY, anyone could do it.

I would like to thank you Jim, Sensei for the invitation, and your students for the patience and help that they gave to us/me! I had a great time “rolling” and have a lot of respect for ground work; just a little worried about Gary K. trying to get his hand under my butt, I just wish that I had more time to pursue it more, I will be back!!!
