Well, I say Hillary Clinton has re-proven the concept. Nyah, nyah, na-nyah, naaaaaa...

Global warming is real, according to the bulk of climatologists. They were out looking at the end of permafrost in some areas, and the decreasing arctic habitat for many animals, and they were remembering global warming is about the rise of a mean, and substantial deviation occurs from that all the time in both directions; one cold spell is nothing.
Since we're 10,000+ years
overdue for an ice-age, I welcome global warming if it is real.

Most people aren't willing to discount the deaths and assaults on minority suspects from police with humor. Diallo was shot at 41 times; he was unarmed.
Here's another one... Did you get the opportunity to talk with one of the forensic investigators on the Diallo case? Do you know how that went down, why it occurred, what happened? (besides what you were spoon-fed by the visual toilet?) Someday when you and I both have the time, we'll go over how that unfortunate incident occurred. There's a reason the officer's weren't convicted of a crime. Regardless of the media "PC" feeding frenzy, some things are just tragic mistakes.

Another black male was killed by undercover cops who attempted to sell him drugs which he refused, thinking they were thugs. Another black male with a milky way walked thru a stakeout unknowingly and was shot on sight. The officer didn't apologize. At some point it sounds like a trend and we all know not to second guess the actions of a terrified person not knowing what is happening, by blaming them for .2 second decisions after 6 months of investigation.
I'm the first person to be critical of bad cops or bad people... Agree that those were bad things and the people responsible should be held personally accountable. But they aren't what was being referred to in the original post. What was being referred to (since it seems you need it spelled out for you), is the kid, with a rap-sheet a mile and a half long, who is in the middle of a drug deal with his fellow gang-members and gets shot by a rival gang in a drive-by shooting and then all of the sudden the snooze media, 'friends' and naturally 'family' come out of the woodwork to talk about what a great 'future' this thug had... that (s)he was a 'straight-A student', went to chuch and carried his grandmomma's groceries... that it is just such a horrible waste of a life. Sorry, but that life was wasted
long before the kid met his maker... And even though you can pull a few bad examples out (I would bet I have even more examples than you do) of someone who is innocent getting killed by a cop, the fact is that your chances of getting shot by a cop are less than getting hit by lightening... TWICE! What's even
more important is that your chances of getting shot by a lawful citizen are ONE ELEVENTH that of being shot by a cop! Those are the facts. And it's pretty obvious that if you want to lower those chances even further, then you shouldn't rape, rob, mug, break-in, murder, or commit other crimes.

Ballot humor... if disenfranchisement is funny, at least, next time let's make sure the ballot errors benefit each candidate equally.
Bush won. Bush won the first recount. Bush won the second recount. Bush won the third through sixth recounts... and it was only by the most shaky grounds that Gore won the
seventh recount by a handful of votes...
Using the reasons given by those you claim were "disenfranchised" (and the lawsuit had to be dropped because it was found that
none of the plaintiffs could have possibly been affected by the things they claimed to be affected by...

), I don't want lying, stupid people to pick who's leading the most powerful nation on the planet! Your Socialist, Utopian leader LOST! And
I didn't vote for either ONE of them!

I'm not laughing either... I think high-speed chases are neat. If you want to protect innocent bystanders, have the police stand-down and not pursue... simple. (That should happen about the same time Global Warming causes us all to turn into charcoal.

Hey, thanks! Why pay all that money for road railing either? If you're stupid enough to drive so fast that you lose it off the side of a cliff, too bad! (BTW, been there done, done that!

) Safety standards... that goes back to product liability, which is a different issue.
