A, for me, very important day

Post by Hugh »

8) June 17 thirty-six years ago was a dreadfully hot Saturday, very different from the cloudy and off-and-on wet, cool day that it is today. It was on that day in 1967 that Georgia and I got married in the Saint Albans School Chapel, then as now, not air conditioned. I just wanted to celebrate a bit and to say thanks to God.

Sounds like you found a fantastic "lifemate".

Me too with Susan. We met on the evening Tiny Tim was married on the Johnny Carson show. (I can't remember dates, but will never forget that evening.) We've been happily together ever since.
