Why?

Why study weapons advancement:
An Example; although Hood was a large, fast was gunned and well crewed ship. why did she blow up with relatative ease?
She was built as a battlecruiser=for spreed, and althought she was upgraded in hor suite-----basicly this was not enough, unless she got lucky.
SHe didn't.. Other examples: Constitutuition vs, Gurriere;;;;; Kirishima V, Washington====Mikasa v. Sven Istvan.
When one fight this year' war with the last genereration weapons, disaster result. this is not a hard and fast rule, but, you a safely paying attention to it than not.
This is the thesis of this forum.
