Sniper!!!

Post by JOHN THURSTON »

As in the progressing, if little undertood, progression of Western Military and martial Arts History proceeds, we will open many doors and areas of which one might wish to be aware.

For this thread and its hoped for follow ups we have on hand, as references, "The Ultimate Sniper" by Major John Plaster, "Marine Sniper" (on Carlos Hathcock) by Charles Henderson and "A Sniper in the Arizona" by john J. Culbertson.

One quote confirms the relevancy of the latter:

"The amorer held the rifle towards me and said; 'Culbertson, this M-14 Rifle has as glass bedded match barrel. The stock is walnut snd the scope is a Redfield 3-9x power variable. I have adjusted and honed every inch of this rifle, and it should shoot inside ten inches at 1000 meters"

"nuf said Gunny.
