the P-40 Warhawk and a decent picture of the Zero.

The Warhwk, i memory serves me right, was a rugged aircraft. The One Pictures had 6 x ,50 Cal BMG. Its Maximum Speed was about 330mph.

The Zero "A Truly Clasic Fighter" and flown throught the war by Ace of Ace Saburo Sakai, Japan's Best. It was slightly faster that the Warhawk.

The Zero had a middling armament of 2 X20 mm Cannon and 2 7.7mm Machine Guns fring thru the propeller arc..

I was more manueverable thn it intitial string of opponents and its Gross weight averaged 3700 to 6000 lbs. The Warhawk ranged between 6000 and 900 lbs.

So, the figure say the Warhawk must have be a hadful to fly and it was, like the Hurricane, assigned to ground attack roles

More later.
