George,

you need an fiber optic cable to run from your DVD player directly into the video card. Many DVD players have an optical output. It's a virtually loss-less connection.

Van, just stopped by after a PM from a friend... The warm room is getting pretty spacious..... it's almost as if an "extension" had been put on... hah hah...
