Logging in....

Post by Mary S »

Is there a reason I have to log in twice to log in? This has been happening for a while and I wonder if it's a "Mary's Computer" thing or a "Forum" thing.

when you log in, be sure to click the little box that "remembers" who you are. (Your computer must accept "cookies" though, otherwise you will have to log in each time you open the forums.

If you don't use "auto login", how do you think the forums will remember who you are?

I do have my computer set up to auto login but I still have to do it twice and then when I log out sometimes I'm still there but not as a moderator. I actually have to leave the site in order to have my name removed completely from the list of "on liners".

George, are you trying to tell me you don't recognize my knock!!!!???? :D

under your password does it not have "Log me on automatically each visit:" with a box to check?
Could be your using a window washing program as well and you need to set it in order keep GEM`s cookies.
