Cryptic message from China

Post by gem »

My good friend, who is in Fuzhou for a couple of years visiting his family, emailed me a request to find equipment for him. I can't figure out what he is looking for. Perhaps someone out there can decipher this:

tbm6X86-233ms
Amdk62-300my ingel teleron 300ctu

Could simply be computers, and he misspelled a few words. Anyway, any help will be appreciated.

While I'm travelling, please email both gmattson@uechi-ryu.com and uechi9999@aol.com

Correct Tony-San
1.)IBM/Cyrix 6x86 233<not in production hard to find and $$$>
2.)AMD k6-2 300 <phased out still available>
3.)Intel Celeron 300 <phasing out as we speak>
Good spread of chips and manufactures.
Recomend that you check outPriceWatch for current prices.

Thanks Dakkon and Tony. I've found the chips and have emailed the specs to my buddy. Will let you know what happens.
