This is something to write home to mom about. At the opening screen of the forums, I did a dragon drop of the title on my desktop!

I wonder if I can get my modem to do an autodial when I double-click on one of those icons.

For us neophytes, what the heck is a 'dragon drop'?

GEM,
A "Dragon Drop" is like a rabbit drop Image
Only its about the size of a old VW bug.

I know that was bad but I couldn't resist.
Dragon drop = Drag and Drop
What Allen did was he had his browser sized small enough to see his desktop and the site at the same time. He clicked on & held the click then dragged a forum title to the desktop.
Cheers,
Chuck

Ahem!

A little red-cheeked, but (at least on NT) you can drag-and-drop anything anywhere in terms of pointers to URLs. For instance many things on this page can be lifted and put into a folder on the desktop, or on the desktop itself. Lift my URL, located at the bottom of this post, right off this page; go to GEM's homepage and drag-and-drop "December Mailbag Posted!" It's another way of quickly custom-organizing anything to your heart's content.

Anthony, but this method is a lazy mouse's heaven.

Dakkon, I never have the browser open full-screen and this discovery was quite by accident. Looks like I got my Christmas toy.
