I am sure there are some avi to quicktime programs out there that run standalone.
There are a few for the PC.

Macs & .avi files
Here's a simple one, I hope. I have several sites that have video files in the avi format. When I download them to my 7300/180 Mac running 8.5 & Quick Time 5, I get a message that "will run with avi to Quick Time plug-in."
Apple's site doesn't have the plug in and I can't find it on download.com or anywhere else.
Any help available?

Danziger-sama,
Thanks for the reply, sorry to be so slow to respond, been a little under the weather this last week or so.
Nothing on Apple's site and shareware.com doesn't seem to have any either. (grumble)
If you run across any, please let me know.
Much obliged!
