A couple years ago we took some scouts to Newfoundland (a large island Provience), just too many good times thanks mostly to the wonderful Newfoundlanders in a land that honestly could only have been made by Gods.
One small store we stoped at I asked questions of local area for future trips. One road in particular looked interesting as it wound through mountainous areas, I asked the patient old store keeper (we asked endless questions) where the road across the street led...without cracking a smile he said
" England my son, but you best hold for while as shes washed out in Port O Basque" I was slow on getting it (traveling steady 3 days with 17 scouts 8O ) and one of my spirited boys replied
" Alright! finally we get to go on a ferry!" this broke up the store keeper into roaring laughter.
