Nova Scotia sweetheart

An elderly couple went into a country store in a small town in New Brunswick. The clerk (also elderly) asked them how they were. The elderly lady asked her husband in a loud voice" what did he say?" He yelled in her ear " He wants to know how we are dear!" She replied "Tell him we are in a hurry" The clerk then asked where they hailed from. The woman again shouted at her husband "what did he say ?". " Nova Scotia she shouted...born there and going to die there unless your foolish questions keep us here until hell freezes over." The clerk then said..."Years ago I went out with a girl from that part of the country...she was the worst nag and cold in bed to boot." The elderly woman shouted at her husband"What did he say now!" He replied " He says he thinks he knows you dear"
