I love the crazy names people choose for foods....

So what is the deal with Canadian Bacon?

haha...you'v stumped the hostess!! - no more of that missy!!!! :D

I guess it's right up there with "American Pie" (everybody groan!!!!) 8O

I prefer rashers of bacon crisply cooked and, if possible cooked outside, in the morning, over a campfire accompanied by a really good cup of coffee, a few eggs, some fruit and a conversation sitting around a picnic table!

I second that. Love eating outside when you camp. That is one of the best parts of the camping experience.....except I like my bacon chewy. Yum!

It's called peameal bacon and it better than anything you get in the stores labeled "Canadian bacon"

It's lean and delicious.
