Great on camp outs

Fresh Maple sprig with bark left on (find one with natural fork)

Maple only never Oak etc...

Place steak or weiners on fork and weave smaller unbarked sprigs to hold meat.(stainless steel wire can be used as option)

Hold over hot embers of a hardwood fire and watch the Maple juices coat the steak. (higher the heat the better)

Serve with potatoes that were placed in hot coals wrapped in fresh Cabbage leaves to protect from burning.

The Maple gives the steak a flavour combined with a hint of smoke.
