Looking for a healthy, nutritious little bundle of food?

Aw, nuts!

They come in a variety of shapes, sizes and flavours.
They’re chocked full of vitamins and minerals.
They are suggested to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease .
They’re great on their own or you can add them to almost any meal.

Make your own trailmix:

Dried fruit (such as pineapple, apples, bananas, coconut)
Dried cranberries, raisins
Sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds
Some type of fiber-filled cereal (Shreddies, Cheerios)
Throw in a handful (that’s about an ounce) of peanuts, cashews, pistachios, pine nuts, etc.
Fire everything into a resealable plastic bag and give it a good shake.

You can take this to work for a mid-afternoon snack.
Pack a couple of bags when you go hunting.
The possibilities are endless and because you get to pick what you put into the mix, you’ll enjoy it even more!

I have a few recipes that I’m going to post on this thread and if you have any, please feel free to post as well….
