 Post subject: Pumpkin Cobbler

After tasting this marvelous dessert at a function and finding it on the forum, I recently made it for a get together.

Even people that don't like pumpking told me it was absolutely delicious.

Below is the recipe for you to try.

Great stuff,

1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
Take out 1 cup of mix and set aside. Add to box of cake mix 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 egg and press down in 13 x 9 inch pan.

1 lg. can pumpkin
3 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. canned milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
Mix together and put on top of crust.

1 c. reserved cake mix
1/2 c. softened butter
1/2 c. sugar

Mix together. May add 2 cups nuts (optional). Bake for 60 minutes.

PS I made two changes. I used regular milk instead of the canned milk. I also separated this into two 8x8 pyrex dishes and baked it for about 45 minutes...one to eat and one to share.
