NatGeo...

Post by 2Green »

In the latest National Geographic there is a very well-done article on Buddhism which may be of interest to MA'ists in general, particularly Karateka, since Karate's roots can be traced to Buddhist India and Bodidharma.

I am not a Buddhist, however Halifax is one of the largest per-capita centres for Buddhism. It's interesting.I can dig it.

There are references to Shaolin Kung Fu and a startling picture (what NatGeo pictures AREN'T startling?!) of a Shaolin monk hanging by his feet hooked over a tree branch, meditating.

The issue is Dec 2005, you'll see a giant sea creature on the cover. That's a good article too.

The music spoke to me. I felt compelled to answer.

THanks Neil.

When I get done with my office move (yuck) which has taken over my life for the last two weeks and will take another one at least - I'll try to take a look.

Oy the holiday season...oy too much to do!
Did you show compassion today?
