From a post on
I've only watched the isshin-ryu ones at the bottom - and those seem to be pretty good.

Heres a few bits and bobs I found online

Shotokan ... q=shotokan

Shorin Ryu ... ed&search= ... ed&search= ... ed&search=

Goju ryu ... ed&search= ... ed&search= ... ed&search= ... ed&search=

Enshin Karate ... ed&search= ... ed&search= ... ed&search=

Wado ryu

Matsumura Seito

Well that should be enough. What do we think of these fights? This is a fairly random selection of material so I think it is fair to say they are as likely to be good examples as bad, or at least pretty representative of what's about in the karate world.

So is there a huge difference between what the different styles actually do in the execution of their arts?
To me it looks like the greatest variation is in tournament systems as opposed to technique.

What say the rest of you?
Did you show compassion today?

Some styles that were missed. What differences and similarities can we see?

A lot of use of front and horse stances in this one. ... ed&search=
