I was wondering...
Are there any issues about Y2K that have any relavance to the fairer (kinder, gentler, wiser) sex?

Are there any last minute predictions or preparations you'd like to share?

Hi Rick-san,

Interesting question. Personally I don't believe that any of my particular concerns are gender related - other than the "mother bear" type instinct to protect my own. It's a little late to do much more at this point - on the coast most of us are prepared for hurricane evacuation and disaster type supplies already - (or should be) - and that's not really specific to women...

Concensus among the women I know is that many are staying close to home - forgoing any parties - even though this is a "big" year - just to avoid any crazies that might be lurking the streets, beyond the usual drunk driver menace.

Other than that it's probably just more personal belief and action.

Stay alert and stay safe!

Peace,
Lori
