I agree with Rich while the article was fairly entertaining, the comments were what held my interest.
As always it comes down to why do we train in either martial arts or guns or both and that being a victim is a conscience choice. Over the holidays, I read a book on forensic pathology, (yeah I know, "light" reading). It included a violent crimes section coving choking, blunt objects, gunshot wounds, and stabbing. Since the book covered only cases within my state, I was familiar with a large number of the incidents and that the majority of the deceased didn't fight back. All I can say is that I am that much more determined to be the one who prevails. I have no intention of being the person ending up on the slab in the morgue.
