Guys grab girls, Guys hit guys. What type of grappling do you Ladies practice. and I don't mean standing wrist and arm locks, those are a joke and do not work against a "live" opponent. Striking a man in a self defense situation might not always be your best option.

Would you care to give us your reasons for the above statement?

Women are not physically as strong as Men.

Karate is based on the theory of Kinetic Energy. Force against force. tThe only reasons that it works is because it applies the theory in an intelligent way, attacking the anatomically weak points of the body.

Attacking a man by eye poking, groin slaping and grabbing, biting ( only in certain protected areas, lot of bugs out there ), hair pulling, ear slapping, clawing and other " dirty tactics" should be HEAVILY practiced, as those are the best and most effective techniques for women.

Throwing head kicks and punching the solar plexes from a front stance is laughable. Much of the self defense that Karate teaches is not suited for women. They lack the strength to apply in, so do small males.
