This is Dave Young's Forum.
Can you really bridge the gap between reality and training? Between traditional karate and real world encounters? Absolutely, we will address in this forum why this transition is necessary and critical for survival, and provide suggestions on how to do this correctly. HIV and Dojos

Post by RACastanet »

To all: After a year and an appeal, a judge has finally ruled that a Richmond area dojo was correct in not allowing an HIV infected youth to participate in contact work with other children. Also, it was ruled that the dojo was not legally required to change its training methods to eliminate potential contact with blood.

I wonder how much that cost the dojo owner in legal fees?
